Biography
Akbar Davari was a former political prisoner who had been previously detained during the 2022 nationwide protests. He was killed on January 8, 2026, on Eram Street in Fardis, Karaj, after being shot in the chest by security forces. Davari was reportedly targeted while intervening to protect a young couple from the security forces.
اکبر داوری، زندانی سیاسی سابق، پیشتر در جریان اعتراضات سراسری پس از قتل مهسا امینی در سال ۱۴۰۱ بازداشت و زندانی شده بود. او در ۱۸ دیماه ۱۴۰۴ در خیابان ارم فردیس کرج، در حالی که برای نجات یک زن و شوهر جوان وارد عمل شده بود، با شلیک مستقیم نیروهای سرکوبگر به سینهاش کشته شد.
